I've pasted in part of an email (below) which has some details of the day from Harvey (captain of the Notts Tigers) who is casting around for another woman. If you can make it, Raymond is taking his car and you could share the journey with he and me on Sunday. Goooo on!

HARVEY'S EMAIL...
I've managed to bribe the organisers into giving us a late start due to
people in our team travelling some distance to get there (the furthest
being Steve and Claire from Suffolk!) so our first game is not until 09:40
but I would suggest aiming to get there at 09:15 so that we can do a bit of
a warm up - so still an early start for everyone.

The team is listed below with suggested starting positions with
alternatives in brackets as there will probably be some change to where you
play during the day - please let me know if you want to play somewhere
different - preferably before we've played the games as I can't do anything
about it afterwards !

I'd like to welcome Una, Norm and Raymond to the Tigers as they've all
offered to play for us this weekend.

Una has played softball in France before moving to Leicester and is keen to
play for us, unfortunately she cannot make the first 2 games but she will
hopefully be with us for the third game onwards and is really excited to
play (we'll try and borrow a girl for the 1st 2 games we play).

Norm plays for the Oxford Oddsox - the team the Tigers met in the
quarter-final of Bristol Rec and Raymond is playing in his first season for
the Oxford Angels.

I've also asked Simon and Mike to play and, although they haven't confirmed
yet, as they are local they may come along for a couple of games, but in
those myself and Tony will sit out so that the guys who have travelled get
as much game time as possible.

The cost will be £9 per person for the day.
