Indoor softball

Dear all,
Indoor softball (previously advertised as starting on the 12th - i.e. tomorrow) is now due to start on 19th September - TUESDAY NEXT WEEK.
WHERE IS IT, you ask?
Well, I'll tell you:
Oxford Community School, Glanville Road, OX4 2AU
WHAT TIME?
7-8pm, but please be there at 6.55 as time is so short. We must finish at 8pm, prompt.
HOW MUCH?
I forgot to ask. :-P Probably £3 or £4 each (we'll let you know).
IS IT FOR ME?
Yes. Almost certainly - we'd love to have all standards there. It will really help your batting and your in-field play. It's quite quick but great fun. We do tend to spend about 3 times as much time in the pub than in the gym, though!
INDOOR - ISN'T THAT A BIT WEIRD?
Probably. The ball is a bit more rubbery and bounces off the walls. Otherwise, it's quite similar to outdoor softball, really. You don't get wet when it rains, though.
WHO IS ORGANISING?
The principal organiser is Roger Farrell. Good man! But there's people from several different teams there. Andy Meigs used to organise it all, but has handed over the (rubbery) baton to Roger.
HOW DO I FIND IT?
Point your browser at this:
http://tinyurl.com/kq4vm It is just off Cowley Road and where we used to play summer softball before we moved to Rover.
WHAT DO I NEED?
Gym shoes. A glove if you've got one. A sense of humour.
If you're a rookie - please come. If you're experienced, just turn up with your glove! We'd also like more women than we had last year. Go on - give it a try!
Cheers,
Norm
